Digital X-Rays

We utilize state of the art digital radiographic (x-ray) technology to diagnose and treat pets for a wide-range of health conditions including dental imaging. Employing advanced imaging techniques enable our veterinarians to view the skeletal system, chest cavity (heart and lungs), the abdomen (internal organs), the digestive tract (intestines) and soft tissue abnormalities in dogs and cats in order to develop a prognosis and treatment plan for your pet when necessary.

The comfort of your pet is very important to us during our painless x-ray procedures. Each of the veterinary technicians who assist our doctors are well-trained and certified on all of our imaging equipment and results are available immediately to review. Our veterinary team also closely collaborates with a board-certified veterinary radiologist when needed using cloud-based technology. We can also submit images to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) to review issues relevant to hip dysplasia or other genetic abnormalities.

Digital diagnostic imaging can be used for the evaluation or presence of:

  • Broken bones and fractures
  • Foreign body obstructions
  • Confirmation of pregnancy and/or complications
  • Obstructions
  • Growths or masses
  • Bladder stones
  • Intestinal torsion
  • Tooth fractures and root damage
